Estate 14K Yellow Gold Ruby and Diamond Dome Cluster Vintage Ring

Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this estate dome ring from the 1960's centers on a round brilliant cut diamond of approximately 0.26 ct, measuring 4.16mm, H-I color and I1 clarity. Six round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 2.1mm and totaling approximately 0.21 tcw, H-I color and SI clarity, surround the center stone, framed in turn by a ring of twelve round rubies measuring 2.5mm and totaling approximately 1.08 tcw. Three more round brilliant cut diamonds, measuring 1.9mm and totaling approximately 0.08 tcw, H-I color and SI clarity, trail down one side of the dome. Total diamond weight is approximately 0.55 tcw. The ring is a finger size 6.25, with a total weight of 7.4 grams. Stamped 14K.

The dome is wrapped in bands of twisted rope-style gold wire, which sweep around the cluster and continue onto one shoulder in a woven pattern, giving the ring a sense of movement from every angle. The diamonds are set in white prongs that keep their sparkle bright against the warm gold, while the rich red of the rubies adds bold color around the center. The cluster sits high on the finger, making this a true statement ring.
