Crafted in 14kt yellow gold, this Victorian inspired estate ring from the 1970's features an elongated floral design set with two round sapphires totaling approximately 0.31tcw and twenty single cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.54tcw, H-J color and I1-I2 clarity. The larger sapphire, approximately 3.24mm, sits at the center of the flower, while the second, approximately 2.8mm, crowns the top of the design. The ring face measures approximately 15/16" x 1/2". The ring is a size 6 and weighs 4.2 grams.
Single cut diamonds have fewer facets than modern round brilliants, which gives them a softer, more understated sparkle well suited to accent stones. Here they trace the open petals and loops of the design, framing the deep blue sapphires. The elongated face covers the finger gracefully, and the open goldwork keeps the ring light for its size.
A lovely choice for collectors of vintage floral jewelry, this ring makes a graceful statement piece as well as a memorable gift for any occasion.
