The World is a Rose
“But he who dares not grasp the thorn, should never crave the rose.” – Anne Bronte.
Lovely pale peachy morganite is meticulously cut for maximum depth and shine in this Bellarri Pendant. The checkerboard-cut center stone is surrounded by a halo of diamonds in perfectly matched Rose Gold. You will appreciate all the details in craftsmanship that add to not only the beauty of the piece but its functionality and long-wear as well.
Morgan-who?
Morganite is a member of the beryl family and is a cousin of Aquamarine. It ranges from pale pink to almost salmon colored and is often paired with Rose Gold.
The very first morganite stone was discovered in Madagascar in 1910 by George Kunz, gemologist at Tiffany & Co., He proposed naming this new variety of beryl after his friend and customer, J.P. Morgan.
Kunz felt that the homage would be fitting for the man who gave great financial support to the arts and sciences, and who was known as one of the most important jewelry collectors of the early 1900s.
