Professional Jewelry Cleanings

When is the last time you had your jewelry cleaned and inspected by a professional? To keep your jewelry in great shape and maintain its beautiful shine, we recommend having it cleaned and inspected by a professional every 6 months. At home cleaning solutions can be used between professional inspections, but they don’t give your jewelry the same beautiful shine as a professional cleaning would. Routine jewelry cleanings help get the debris out of hard to reach places and keep your jewelry in top condition.

*-At Nelson Coleman Jewelers we will clean and inspect up to five of your jewelry items for free while you wait. After the fifth item, for each additional item, there will be a $5 fee. If you decide to leave the item/s or if they need repair work done the fee will be waived.  If some work is required, we have a variety of while-you-wait services to keep your jewelry in great shape.

Jewelry Cleaning Services

We offer three different types of jewelry cleaning services: a basic cleaning, an intermediate spa treatment, and a deluxe signature service cleaning. It’s important to us that our customers’ jewelry remains in top condition, which is why we provide a free basic cleaning service once every six months. However, some items may require additional cleaning services. Below you will find a detailed description of each of the services that we offer, along with pricing information.

Basic Jewelry Cleanings

We provide a basic jewelry cleaning service to customers free of charge*. The cleaning also includes an inspection of stones to make sure they are secure and in place.

• Preliminary inspection of setting and stones under magnification
• Hand check each stone for tightness
• Ultrasonically Cleaned
• May use a soft brush to assist in cleaning
• Steam out debris and dry

If stones come out during cleaning, there is a charge to reset. Additional charges to repair the cause may also apply.

Spa Treatment Jewelry Cleanings

Our spa treatment includes an intermediate jewelry cleaning and inspection. The jewelry steamer that we use leaves rings looking polished and pristine.

Our signature jewelry cleaning service provides a deluxe cleaning and an extensive inspection of the jewelry. We recommend this option for customers who are looking to clean diamond rings or another highly valued piece of jewelry.
