What a year it has been!
I wish I could sit here and reflect on all of the amazing things that we
accomplished at Nelson Coleman without pause, but I can’t. When I look back at
all the engagements, new beginnings, celebrations, and gifts we’ve had the
pleasure of being a part of, my heart isn’t completely full.
Nelson Coleman Jewelers, and the world, lost some amazing people this year. It
wouldn’t be right to give thanks without also giving mention to those we lost.
Gary Lester, our beloved appraiser of many years and a dear friend, passed away
suddenly, taking with him a piece of our hearts.
Cara Ensor, our sales manager, lost her kindred spirit and best friend – Officer
Amy Caprio – who passed away tragically. Amy’s life touched so many and her
service will never be forgotten. Her kindness and care for animals will shine
through as you enjoy the pages of our catalog.
Gary and Amy’s warmth and joy will be greatly missed this holiday season and
In dark times we must always find our way to the light.
It has always been Nelson Coleman Jewelers’ mission to support our friends,
colleagues, and family in our community. Now, it is our focus. We want you to
know that every penny you spend with us is helping to support someone’s mission
and giving back to our community. We are honored to have this opportunity and
we promise we won’t let you down.
This December, in honor of Officer Amy Caprio, a portion of sales will be going
to two amazing organizations: Operation Paws for Homes and The Humane Society
of Harford County.
For as much heartache as the year has brought, it has also brought immense joy.
This year we were incredibly blessed to add several new team members and a
whole lot of new furry friends. It’s been a wild ride, and we couldn’t do it without
each and every one of you. So, as you plan for your loved ones’ special gifts, we
stand ready to serve you, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
